Why setting goals does work

Those that may see goal setting as a useless task are wrong for saying so. I personally believe that whenever a person sets a goal they have something to strive for. Something to actually want to achieve and work for in life.

Not to have everything handed to them and never become more than they already are. Setting goals does work in simple form to show you what you are made of and capable of. Whenever you combine the two it can be life changing.

Many of those who set goals and are not willing to work to achieve them, fail to believe in the power of goal setting.  They may have  set goals that are unrealistic to them. They could’ve simply not believed that it could be accomplished.

Goal setting does work if you believe that you can have it and are willing to work to have it.  If you are willing to work and do whatever is required to have whatever you want who can tell you no? Nobody.

You can have whatever you want and become whatever you want.

How to get the most out of your day

Cesar This was one of my biggest problems that i had to deal with for quite some time. After the day was over and i’d be in bed laying down i wouldn’t feel accomplished. Like i did anything at all. So therefore i made a change in myself.

To make sure that everytime i finish the day off  in bed to rest for the night i would feel a sense of accomplishment.  I believe it all started when i noticed how i wasn’t giving it my all with skateboarding and blogging.  Whenever i wake up sore or tired i know that the day before i was giving it my all trying something i didn’t do before.

Many of you may have jobs or simply go to school. You may feel as if i do what is required, what else can i do? Well you can start by going the extra mile. Start doing a little more than you did before.

This is not simply pertaining to one thing. It can be used in anything. If you’ve been giving whats required daily then it’s time to change it. In other words lets improve it.

How to get the most out of your day

  1. Wake up and say what you are thankful for
  2. Believe in what you are doing
  3. Whenever you get tired doing something keep going even more
  4. Decide that you what the best and are going to be the best
  5. Believe in yourself
  6. Stay positive when times get hard

How i learned to meditate part 5

Here’s the final part of how i learned to meditate. Ever since i went through with meditating my life has become even more and more better. Daily i practice meditation. So hopefully you will do the same.


2 Ways to create affirmations

Ticking time... I learned from Jim Rohn that whenever we create affirmations or have them that they should be nothing but the truth. Meaning that whenever we state the truth it brings current situation to the forefront and we notice it clearer.

For example I’m not sure if this is correct saying that Jim used but it’s somewhat along these lines, he said that whenever you say that I’m wealthy, when you are truly broke you shouldn’t say things like that to yourself. Meaning that if you are broke you should say I’m broke.

Doing that will help you understand more and to get yourself in gear. There is nothing wrong with affirmations as long as they affirm the truth.  Be honest with yourself as much as possible.

The 2 simple ways in creating affirmations

  1. Be honest with yourself. Stating what is truly happening and has happened.
  2. Take action and begin to change it.

How to get the simplest tasks done

40+101 Lamp This maybe one of the hardest things for someone to do. I personally still deal with this from time to time. Getting distracted easily by something that doesn’t even tie into what i’ m doing.

One of first things i do is simply to gain control over that moment. By getting in the mind-frame of getting it done. Not taking any extra time. Cutting out all distractions.

If my cellphone rings while i’m doing so i’ll let it ring, that’s what voicemail is for.  Also putting on music helps me to stay focused and in the zone to get it done.

While i’m working on completing tasks if at any point i feel as if i’m getting overwhelmed i stop immediately. Then i relax for a few minutes doing something else that does not require much work. Because simply when we are doing something and it feels like work it’s not fun.

So therefore i make sure it’s fun and not work. Doing just that will make the task that much easier. 

Simple formula for completing tasks

  1. What needs to be done
  2. How can i do it
  3. What will help me do it effectively
  4. Cut out all distractions
  5. Get to work on completing the task
  6. Rinse and repeat

4 Ways to not let life get the best of you

Yesterday i recently got irritated for some reason. Well i believe it was because i got hurt skateboarding and i still haven’t fully healed up.  I had went and ollied some stairs at the skate-park landed them and fell on my somewhat healed bruised hip. 

Then after i laughed it off.  The thing that got me irritated was that i know i have more in me. To do more stuff than I’ve already done. It’s the purpose of giving it your all.  Because honestly i want to give it my all and i am.

Heres some tips to use to not let life get the best of you

  1. It doesn’t rain all the time-Meaning that whatever you are going through in life its only temporary. Use it as a time to grow and become more than you already are.
  2. Giving less than your best effects everything else-Whenever we try to fit in by not being so good at something and etc it begans to affect everything slowly. By trying to fit in with those who are not so good and whatnot. So give your best at all times.
  3. Keep going don’t stop-If for some reason you decided to put on the brakes to cease what your doing why? One of the reason why it didn’t work it’s probably because you had little faith and belief in it.  Next time do the opposite
  4. Learn how to protect yourself-Not just your physical body, i’m talking about your mind. If there is no continued learning process then how will you gain knowledge to protect yourself.

These are a simple combination of steps that i use and you should give a try as well.
