Busy being busy doesn’t guarantee success

Busy

I had first come across the busy being busy phrase from Jim Rohn. He had talked about those who are so busy being busy that’s all they know how to do. They have no sort of clue where they are going. They just are being busy.

Whenever you take upon a task you shall go about it the correct way. Going about it the correct way with a game plan, and a vision of where you want to go is the who key.

Without a vision and a plan of where you want to go is useless. It’s like taking a boat out into the ocean and never having looked at a globe, where you want to go, what to expect and etc. I’m sure there is many other things pertaining to safety.

The Whole point is to have a vision and a game plan. Write down your vision of what you want to accomplish (goals) and how you are going to accomplish them (game plan).

  1. I had a boss who was constantly busy. He always ran around and made problems where they would not be. He would set to himself and to workers, unrealistic standards and tasks.

Being busy is a feeling of constant pressure. Productivity will increase (perhaps), but it can be done without the constant feeling of busyness and pressure.

Being busy is not healthy! At the end, health is most important. No one level of productivity is not worth the cost of health!

  2. Josteen says:

I agree that being busy is not healthy. At my previous job as soon as i would get there it seemed as if i set myself into a tornado of things automatically while i was half asleep. But i’m thankful i learned from it.
