how to deal with not achieving a goal

When we set goals and do not achieve them we tend to give ourselves a hard time. Thinking what did i set that goal for i didn’t achieve it. Maybe i set my standards too high or maybe i should’ve chosen something easier. Honestly neither of those two are true.
It is a perfectly good thing for you to set your standards high. You are capable of being a great person. That is what we were intended to be. Deep down inside of us we have genes locked up inside of us that has not been released yet. This is what i came across in Joel Osteen’s new book. I for one believe that this is true.
The time will come when you can either set another goal or stay in a slump because you didn’t achieve this one. So pick yourself up and continue on to the next one. No one said that achieving a goal would be easy.
