Positive thinking gets rid of the scaredy cat in you

Being Scared is nothing new to the majority of us human beings. Most of the time we are scared of an outcome from an action we’ve taken. I used to be scared of an outcome when i was younger. As i got older i started to say just do it and see what happens. I got the inspiration in doing that from a skateboarder. That was back when i used to skateboard. That little bit of inspiration was a floodgate.
When i applied that to my skateboarding mindset i was progressing to another level. But don’t get me wrong I’m just as human as you who is reading this and my blog : ). We’ve all had times in our life when things were hard.
I know personally when those times came i was scared.
Negative outcomes where all i could possibly think of. Maybe with a little positive outcomes along with them. It helped me realize who i am as a person.
I remember when i was skateboarding i ollied (its a move where the skateboard jumps off the ground sliding your front foot sideways while popping the tail of the board and jumping all together at once.) a set of stairs i fell i tried to use my arm to break my fall and my arm did not break. It plays in my mind like a movie. Out of my years of skateboarding i never went to the hospital.
I apply the same principles i used in skateboarding with a variety of things. Success through positive thinking may seem iffy to some. The inspiration that i said i used earlier i remember telling my brother from another about it.
So he began using it when we would go out into the city for skate sessions. He would do things that i would sit back and watch and be amazed. Thinking wow and we do this for fun. Skateboarding was my true love and it still is to this very day. It literally brought the fear out of me.
Because if you have not yet noticed that you are in control of your life.
So when are you going to decide to stop being afraid?
Thanks for reading
